Magdalena Leo - Head of the BBC

A graduate of the University of Gdańsk, Faculty of Roman Philology and Gdańsk University of Technology, Faculty of Management and Economics.

Professional profile: marketing, business development, sales and HR management.

More than 7 years professionally associated with the international environment, especially with French-speaking countries. She was successful in developing a new business on the French market, actively acquiring new customers. In different companies, as a sales manager she built and maintained long-term relationships with key clients and business partners in Poland and abroad.

She speaks fluently French, English and Polish.

Currently, she continues her education at the Faculty of  Psychology at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

In private life an enthusiast of mountain climbing and active lifestyle.

Natalia Matyba- Project Manager

 
The originator of the creation of the Academy of the European Career at the Warsaw School of Economics and coordinator of the 1st edition. A graduate of International Relations and postgraduate studies in Diplomacy and International Relations at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw.
 
She advised on European issues at the largest employers organization in Poland. She had over 14 years of experience in public administration at the local and governmental level, as well as at European. For 9 years she was a representative of the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship in Brussels. She started her professional experience as a policy officer of the Chancellery of the Mazowieckie Voivodship Parliament. Then she gained experience in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Marshal's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship.
 
Acts as a volunteer for many years, strongly involved in problems and cooperation with people. In addition, she organized numerous charity campaigns. Until 2013, coordinator of meetings of Poles from European institutions in Belgium, as well as a volunteer and co-organizer of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity in Brussels.
 
From November 2019 as a Project Manager in the Belgian Business Chamber.
 
Academic lecturer. She specializes in European politics, promotion of regions and cities on the international stage and the EU decision-making process.
 
In her free time, she plays the piano and golf.

 

Julia Stachowicz - Office Assistant

A third-year Law student at the University of Warsaw. Member of ELSA Warsaw and Forum Młodych Dyplomatów FMD Warsaw. Passed her final exam of high school from Polish, French, English, History, Civics and Geography.

Wants to pursue her career in European Diplomacy. 

Privately related to Brussels, where she lived as a child. Passionate about the culture of Francophone countries, politics, history and music. Loves singing especially in French and travelling – Ambassador of Discover Europe 2018.

Speaks Polish, English, French and Italian. 

From October to November 2019 Julia was an intern at the Belgian Business Chamber.
In November 2019 she was offered the Office Assistant position, which she currently holds. She runs BBC’s social media as well.
