The BBC was happy to invite you to a debate entitled 'Tricity - the best place to grow', which took place on 19 October at the Naval Musuem in Gdynia.
The event's aim was to present to the participants the key factors of economic growth in Pomerania, how to invest successfully, what are the hottest sectors, the biggest potential and how local authorities and businesses can support the growth of the Region.
Nearly 60 guests took part in the undertaking, both investors and entrepreneurs from Pomerania and other regions, as well as representatives of Tricity's local authorities.
The event started with a guided tour of the Naval Museum's outdoor exhibition, followed by the FDI Report presentation by Mr Adam Czerniak - Chief Economist at Polityka Insight, who highlighted the key facts and figures of the report.
After the report presentation, the debate took place which inluded the following panelists: Katarzyna Gruszecka-Spychała – Vice President of the City of Gdynia, Alan Aleksandrowicz-Chairman of the Board at InvestGda, Piotr Ciechowicz – Vice Chairman of the Pomerania Development Agency and Krzysztof Iwański – HR Director at Dovista.
The speakers provided the guests with interesting conclusions and insights on the business climate and opportunities in Pomerania. The final part of the evening was a networking session, where participants had the oportunity to establish business contacts.
